BÖNNIGHEIM (aba) The testing service provider Hohenstein has established a family advisory board, which will meet twice a year with the management from 2023 onwards to provide strategic impetus. The advisory board consists of five members who bring a wide range of expertise from various industries. From now on, it will provide advisory support on important business issues.
In addition to the Hohenstein Management Board, the Advisory Board includes the following members:
- Prof. Dr. Andreas Wiedemann will chair the advisory board. The expert from Stuttgart specializes in legal advice for family businesses.
- Matthias Mey, Managing Partner and Spokesman of the Management Board of Mey, a lingerie specialist based in Albstadt, Germany, contributes his extensive know-how from various professional stations in the textile industry as well as from his own family business.
- Felix Knoell also comes from a family business. As Vice Chairman and Director Strategy & Innovation, he is responsible for the global network of the knoell Group in Mannheim, one of the leading specialists in the registration of chemical products and substances.
- The Mecheels families are represented on the Advisory Board by the shareholders Julia Mecheels, the daughter of CEO and president Prof. Dr. Stefan Mecheels, and his brother Andreas Mecheels as a further shareholder.
